I wish to thank all of the staff for their care and efficiency both in the care of my husband and in the arrangements for his funeral. All staff were extremely kind and sympathetic and helped to make a very sad time less stressful. I would like to thank Marianne, especially for her help with the order of service sheets and her diligence in finding the exact version I wanted for the entrance music. On the day of the funeral, everything went really well, we couldn’t have asked for more – thank you so much.

I wish to thank everyone involved in looking after my husband and for all the care and help given to me and my family during this difficult time.

Just to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all involved in the funeral of my Mom. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish. Alex – your presence is so calming.

To Alex and all the team – We as a family would like to thank you so much for all the kindness and care you have shown us over the last few weeks, taking such care with my Mum. We can’t praise you enough and it was a lovely send off for her.

A very big thank you for all you did for our father who died recently. Also for supporting and caring for us when we visited you and during the funeral – we really appreciated it.

To Ian, Sally, Sam and team – Thank you so much for your professionalism and sensitivity in regard to the planning and handling of mother’s funeral – you made it memorable for all the right reasons.

I would like to thank you for everything you did for my Mum and the family. You treated us all with the greatest care and dignity and your help planning the funeral service was invaluable. I would particularly like to thank Alex who originally collected Mum and then led the funeral procession. He always showed great dignity and his quiet confidence on the day was a real comfort to us.

Everything was fantastic on the day – you are all amazing and professional. A special thank you to Hannah who went above and beyond to help us with photos and the eulogy.

The funeral was wonderful. We want to give our heartfelt thanks to Sam for arranging everything and Alex on the day – he was a credit to Porters. I can’t recommend you enough.

It was perfect, all went well. We were so impressed with Alex – what a lovely, smart young man – he had excellent communication skills and is such an asset to your business.

We were so pleased with everything – the whole family were. It was so well organised and sensitively done with lots of compassion. The celebrant was wonderful. I’m now changing my funeral plan and having H. Porter & Sons as my nominated funeral director.

It was brilliant – we felt so relaxed. The whole day was perfect and such a fitting tribute. Maria looked wonderful – so smart – in fact you all were!

Thank you to all who were involved in the arrangements for my husband’s funeral, especially Sam, Maria and Marianne. Everything was exactly as we would have wished for and all went smoothly due to the efficiency of all involved from your company. All suggestions were so helpful and we were supported by everyone we met at your company with sensitivity to ease us through a challenging time.

It couldn’t have been nicer. We were so pleased with everything. Alex was perfect as were all your staff and I know Mum was well looked after whilst in your care.

It was absolutely fantastic – the service was wonderful and the Lounge too – the food was perfect. We will recommend you to everyone.

Alex, Emma – Thank you both for your support during this heartbreaking process of Mom’s funeral. Your company at all times maintained the highest professional standards and courtesy to both myself and my sister. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt we could ask any question and we always got a positive response with guidance and suggestions, and we always felt the decision was ultimately ours. Alex – your planning and preparation on the day was spot on. Emma – thank you for all your efforts and assistance.

The funeral was the perfect send-off. It all went to plan and so many people commented how lovely it was. The catering and catering ladies in The Lounge afterwards were brilliant and the cakes were lovely!

All was perfect – thank you to Maria – from the time we first met to bringing Mum home, then the funeral the next day, you were wonderful. We’ve always used other funeral directors but we can honestly say that you were by far the best.

It all went very well – can’t fault anything and the whole team were marvellous.

Everything was wonderful – Ian was fantastic and we were so well looked after.

From our first meeting to the after service at your lovely room, you have been so kind, compassionate, accommodating and utterly professional. Thank you.

I was not looking forward to dealing with the wheelchair which, apart from its weight, is also difficult to get into the boot of a car. I need not have concerned myself, on both the journey there and back one of your employees took these chores on himself leaving me free to assist my wife into and out of the vehicle.

Thank you so much for your advice and understanding over my mother’s funeral. I know you are only doing your job, but so much sympathy, empathy and care is required, and you showed it in abundance. No question or request was too trivial or bizarre.
